Dr. Tracy Garrett, Chief Clinical Officer
Dr. Tracy O. Garrett holds a dual doctorate in Clinical and Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Garrett has been with Progressive Life Center for more than 20 years and is responsible for managing the organization’s performance and quality improvement operations and clinical development services. This includes but is not limited to the stewardship of Progressive Life Center’s approach to health and healing NTUâ„¢ Psychotherapy, child welfare, juvenile justice, and behavioral healthcare services. Dr. Garrett is a licensed psychologist who has over 30 years of experience in the field of mental health. She has worked in a variety of clinical, school, government, and community settings.Â
She has also been an independent consultant in the Washington Metropolitan Area for more than 20 years where she has provided training in schools, government agencies, non-profits, for profits, churches and professional organizations.
Her specialty is in the areas of clinical, community, team and organizational development. Dr. Garrett is a life member of the Association of Black Psychologists, a life member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), a life member of Tuskegee Airmen, Inc., and a life member of the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP). In her self-care time Dr. Garrett enjoys tennis, church, being a Queen Mother in Bogyawe, Ghana, being with family and friends, traveling, and a host of other activities.
