Juliet Francis - PLC



Dr. Juliet M. Francis is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Francis & Associates, P.C., a Washington, D.C. based mental health practice. Dr. Francis is a licensed clinical psychologist and specializes in counseling with men, conflict resolution, marital discord, relational issues and life transitions (i.e., loss and phase of life issues).

Additionally, she works with organizations to develop practical strategies that facilitate personal and professional growth. She has demonstrated expertise in the area of sports psychology working with the NFL and continues to be a sports psychology consultant to the University of Maryland (UMD) Sports Medicine Department.
She holds psychology licenses in three states and is an active member of several professional psychology organizations. Previously, Dr. Francis held the position of consulting psychologist for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) where she developed and implemented the SafeGuard Program on Secondary Trauma with the Exploited Child Unit (ECU) and Child Victim Identification Program (CVIP); working with Internet Crimes Against Children task force (ICAC) Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section (CEOS); Google/YouTube; Microsoft Corporation and the National Football League (NFL).

Dr. Francis was the 2011 Recipient of the Distinguished Psychologist Award for Practice in Police & Public Safety Psychology Division 18, American Psychological Association. She is a former member of the Board of Psychology of the District of Columbia. She has also been the past Vice Chair for the Membership and Community Affairs Committee for the District of Columbia Psychological Association (DCPA). She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated Iota Gamma Omega chapter.
